Some love stories are written in grand gestures. Others are written quietly, in the way two people choose each other every single day.

Niv and Shujie are college sweethearts whose journey began long before their uniforms, responsibilities, and demanding careers. Today, Niv serves as a fighter jet pilot in the U.S. Army, while Shujie dedicates her life to caring for others as a dentist in the U.S. Army. Their days are filled with discipline, service, and duty — often leaving little room for themselves.

Yet amidst the fast pace of military life, they never lost sight of what matters most: each other.

With roots that trace back to India, Niv wanted to reconnect with a place that had shaped his family’s story. Together, they planned a journey across the world — not just to visit a country, but to create memories that would last a lifetime.

When they arrived, it was immediately clear that theirs was a relationship built on something rare. There was comfort in their silence, warmth in their laughter, and an effortless way they cared for one another. Every glance carried history. Every smile carried meaning.

At We Craft 25, our role was not simply to photograph them. It was to preserve the feeling of who they are.

We documented their journey through a collection of photographs and a film that reflects their genuine connection — unfiltered, elegant, and deeply personal. We wanted every frame to feel like a page from their story; something they could return to years from now and relive exactly as it felt.
